HPX is exploring the 446 km² Samapleu project (permit no. 123 [“PR123”]), located in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, through a strategic partnership with Sama Resources Inc. (SME.V). HPX is a 13.2% shareholder in Sama Resources and has the right to earn a 60% interest in the Côte d’Ivoire project.
The company’s exploration objective is to delineate massive sulphide ore that could be the source of high-grade nickel-copper-palladium lenses intercepted in shallower boreholes at the Samapleu deposits. HPX Typhoon™ and inversions through our strategic partners at Computational Geosciences Inc. will be used in detecting and targeting these massive sulphides.
The Samapleu deposit comprises a N.I. 43-101 reported Indicated mineral resource of 14.1 Mt at 0.24% Ni and 0.20% Cu, for contained metal of 74.5 Mlb Ni and 61.2 Mlb Cu; together with and Inferred mineral resource of 26.5 Mt at 0.24% Ni and 0.18% Cu containing 134 Mlb Ni and 107.2 Mlb Cu.
